Second-year undergraduate students of Makekere University’s Department of Mass Communication, Eva Nabawunga(left), Eric Wakabi (right) and Tom Jude Siduda (centre), updating the department’s training news site [ link ] on June 29, 2010.


The website is a training platform run by students. They report, write, edit, and upload news stories, features, and photographs on a weekly basis. The website was set up with the assistance from USAID and UNESCO supports ongoing training capacity building in the department.
