Tsqarostavi Four Gospels (Q-907), 1195; 25 x 18 cm; 277 folios; parchment; nuskhuri hand; copiers: Iovane Pukaralisdze and Giorgi Setaisdze; donor: Iovane Mtbvevari; site: Tsqarostavi, South Georgia. The cover is reverted in gilt silver; on both sides of the cover feature relief representations of the “Crucifixion” and “Deisis” scenes, adorned with semi-precious stones; only miniatures of the Evangelists are inserted in the text. The reverting of the cover belongs to Beka Opizari, representative of the Opiza School of goldsmithery. Along the scene of prayer, to the left, are the words: “Christ, have mercy on the goldsmith Beka Opizari.”
