Short-term improvements to the emergency camps erected in the Jordan Valley included the construction of latrines, water supplies, paths, storm water drainage and concrete floors for the tents. Throughout, refugees insisted on the implementation of temporary measures only, based on the expectation of a quick return to the West Bank.
