The original source of this book is a work under the title [al-’AzhŠr f£ Fiqh al-’A’immah al-’A—hŠr], written by [al-’ImŠm ’Amad ibn YayŠ ibn al-Murta‹Š] who died in 840H, which is one of the most important studies of the [Fiqh Zay d£ HŠdaw£]. The material is arranged according to the chapters of [Fiqh]. The book contains 27000 items. Many commentaries were made on it. [ibn al-Murta‹Š] wrote a commentary on the original source mentioned above under the title In fact, the displayed copy, named [al-Muntaza ‘ al-Mu¢tŠr min al ~ay™ al-MidrŠr al-Mufati li-KamŠ’im al-AzhŠr] is a commentary on [al-~ay™ al-MidrŠr al-Mufati li KamŠ’im al-AzhŠr]. The copy represents only the first part of this latter book. It is written in [Nas¢] script, and was finished on Friday the 22nd of [œawwŠl] 1306H.
