The poet [Abd al-Az£z ibn Sary ibn Al£ ibn ab£ al-Qsim al-Sunbus£ al- £] was one of the leading poets of his time. He was born in 677H/1278AD in [al-illah] situated between [al-Kfah] and [Badd]. He was a merchant yet he approached the Kings of the Artuqide dynasty and praised them in his poems, so they generously rewarded him. He traveled to Cairo in 726H/1325AD where he praised the [Mamlk Sultn: al-Nir Muammad ibn Qalawn], then he went back to [Badd] where he died in 750H/1349AD . The displayed copy is written in a beautiful [Nas¢] script, and was finished in the afternoon of Monday the 1st of [Rab£ al-Awwal] 1189H. according to the order of the [Faq£h araf al-D£n ibn Al£ al-Sahm£]. The copyist was [Amad ibn Mummad ibn Amad ibn asan al-Muallam£ al-fi£]. The frame lines and titles are drawn in red ink. There is a phrase indicating that this copy was owned by [asan ibn Al£ ibn Gunayd al-Himyar£ al-fi£].
