The poet [Abd al-Azz ibn Sary ibn Al ibn ab al-Qsim al-Sunbus al-] was one of the leading poets of his time. He was born in 677H/1278AD in [al-illah] situated between [al-Kfah] and [Badd]. He was a merchant yet he approached the Kings of the Artuqide dynasty and praised them in his poems, so they generously rewarded him. He traveled to Cairo in 726H/1325AD where he praised the [Mamlk Sultn: al-Nir Muammad ibn Qalawn], then he went back to [Badd] where he died in 750H/1349AD . The displayed copy is written in a beautiful [Nas] script, and was finished in the afternoon of Monday the 1st of [Rab al-Awwal] 1189H. according to the order of the [Faqh araf al-Dn ibn Al al-Sahm]. The copyist was [Amad ibn Mummad ibn Amad ibn asan al-Muallam al-fi]. The frame lines and titles are drawn in red ink. There is a phrase indicating that this copy was owned by [asan ibn Al ibn Gunayd al-Himyar al-fi].
