The objectives of supporting IFEX are to contribute to the cause of human rights worldwide in the field of freedom of expression, freedom of speech and free flow of information; to support the creation of organizations for freedom of expression in developing countries and to contribute to the development of adequate communications technologies; to establish a sole and global source of information on freedom of expression and make it available to the public.
