The Purpose of the Virtual Laboratory Toolkit is to provide information and free software tools. They are relevant for the creation of a Virtual Laboratory. This Toolkit should enable scientists in the developing countries to establish and participate in basic Virtual Laboratories. Two types of tools which play an important role are covered: person-to-person (P2P) communication and person-to-equipment (P2E) communication.

A low level VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) editing tool with support for simple 3D NURBS Modelling and Animation. It supports 3D inputdevices and "toe in" stereoscopic view on quadbuffer stereo visual (e.g. shutterglases).
